Bathtub Races!

Nanaimo is famous for its annual Great International World Championship Bathtub Race, held on the third Saturday in July in conjunction with the Nanaimo Marine Festival. While you may not be able to participate in the race itself, you can watch the unique spectacle and even explore the Bathtub Racing Hall of Fame. This historic tradition is brought to you by none other than the Loyal Nanaimo Bathtub Society!
